F.A.Q.'s
Is there a limit to how many CV's I can recieve or potential candidates I can interview?
No. We will supply you with as many as you want until you find your ideal candidate.

What is the typical cost of an employee sourced through TWS?
Our typical cost is around £595/month per employee (approx. us$995 or Euros 695).
There is a natural fluctuation between types of work and experience of individual employees, so this figure may vary depending on each employer's requirements.

Are there any additional costs?
There is a one-off, up front fee of £595 +V.A.T.* per employee. This is a finders fee for all the work we do in sourcing your employee but is not due until you hire someone.
(* V.A.T. is the UK sales tax, currently 15% (if you are outside the European Union this does not apply).

Are there any other hidden costs?
Absolutely not. Your quoted monthly salary payment covers everything including employee's salary, office space provision, PC, internet connection, software, phone line etc.

How is the salary paid?
At the employer's choice e.g. direct debit into a UK or overseas bank account, wire transfer or paypal.

For the typical TWS salary how long can I expect my employee to work?
For the average £595/month (approx. us$995 or Euros 695) you can expect 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. More or less than this is possible by negotiation.

Can I employ someone on a trial basis?
There is really no need because any employee you take on can be let go with one months notice.

Can I take on someone part-time?
Yes. Full time, part-time, the working practice is set by you the employer.

How long does it take to get started?
TWS already has the office infrastructure to house your employees. We also have access to a large number of potential employees whose details can be sent to you very quickly. Therefore, you can virtually have one or more new employees working for you within a few days of first contacting us.

Is there an employment contract to be signed by the employer or employee?
There is no emplyment contract between employer and employee. The employer signs a contract with TWS as does the employee. For reasons of tax, insurance, employee benefits, employee legislation, the employer does not enter into a contract with the employee. The employee is technically an employee of TWS, however in practice the employee works for you in all other respects.

What happens if the employee goes sick, on holiday or on maternity leave?
You as the employer are not liable for this and it goes as unpaid. If this is for any length of time we will provide a replacement at no additional cost.

Can you confirm the employment can be terminated with 1 months notice?
Yes.

What happens if I am not happy with my chosen employee's performance?
In this very unusual situation we would find you a suitable replacement at no extra charge. Please remember that you are not tied into any long term contract with any employee sourced with TWS.

Can I offer my staff incentives?
Yes. You are their employer and can set their targets and incentivise them as you wish.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of employees I can hire?
No. You can hire from one to many thousands of employees through TWS.

How does the UK dedicated phone line work?
Your employee can be allocated a dedicated phone landline with a UK dialling code (or which ever country you are based in). You or your customer dials this UK number (and is only charged at a local UK call rate) and is directly connected to your employee. There is no additional charge for this facility.

Can additional company or industry specific software or hardware be installed on my employee's PC?
Yes

What is the cost of this?
The latest version of the most popular office software e.g. MS Office, Windows XP/Vista, Photoshop, Coral etc. is supplied as standard at no additional costs. As are items such as headsets and webcams. Any other specific additional software or hardware would need to be supplied by the employer.

Can you describe the security system within the organisation for data being handled. If, for example, an employee is handling personal customer details or financial information?
Data security is taken very seriously and as a consequence is not a problem. The measures we employ include:
      • potential employees go through background checks and sign non-disclosure agreements
      • electronic access card for entry/exit into office complex
      • removal of paper from the offices is prohibited
      • VLAN-based access restrictions between different employees, this ensures there is no unauthorised access of information between different employees in the organisation
      • regular reporting on printer logs
      • USB ports and floppy drives disabled
      • 128-bit encryption technology for all data exchange
      • secure VPN connection
Where will my outsourced employee from TWS actually be?
Usually India, the world's largest English speaking nation (India has more English speakers than the USA & UK combined). With a population of nearly one billion and 3.1 million university graduates each year, India has the largest pool of technical skills in the world.

If my employee is in a different time zone to me will they always be available to me?
Yes. Again you set your employee's work times and practices. You can specify they work when you do or when your home office is closed (to offer your clients 24 hour operations) or any combination of the two.

How do I know my TWS employee is actually working?
Your employee will be managed in-house by American & British managers. Due to technical advances you can also monitor your employee's output in real time. Also, due to their work ethic we usually find that employers report that their staff sourced by us are exceptionally hard working, committed and motivated to succeed.

How long will it take to reap the rewards of employing an employee outsourced through TWS?
Very quickly you will see how hard working, dedicated & motivated your employee(s) will be. Typically it takes 6 - 12 months for all the benefits to fully show themselves and for your new employee(s) to become an important integral part of your business or organisation.
